Traveling to Kauai
Please plan to arrive no later than Saturday October 22nd and plan to stay for the length of the retreat. Feel free to extend your trip in either direction!
Traveling to Kauai usually involves a 12-16 hour trip by airplane from the East Coast of the United States or a 6-hour trip from the West Coast.
The airport on Kauai is located in LIHUE (pronounced LE-WHO-EE). The airport code for Kauai is LIH (for Lihue), and this is the code you can plug in to airline and travel web sites to book your flights.
We have discovered that there are many direct flights to Kauai (LIH) from Los Angeles California (LAX) and from Phoenix, Arizona (PHX). You may want to include these cities as you conduct your flight search. We have found some air carriers fly directly into Lihue from the mainland. If possible, it might be best to avoid stopping over on one of the other Hawaiian Islands. This usually involves changing airlines, having to exit security, pick up your bags, change terminals, and check in and go through security.

Travel Insurance
We recommend that you purchase travel insurance. You may want to change your flights to extend your stay, you may have unforeseen circumstances or health needs arise. Although it is not a requirement for this retreat, it is suggested that you purchase travel insurance.
We suggest to visit: www.csatravelprotection.com …many people in the Lightworker community have successfully used CSA Travel Pro for Mirabai’s dolphin swim programs in Bimini. They are low-hassle and low cost travel insurers.
